Pakistan meet India in final today in 7th SAARC Golf Chamipionship

KANDY (Sri Lanka): Defending champions Pakistan edged out Bangladesh and Sri Lanka to qualify for the final of the 7th SAARC Golf Championship at the Victoria Club here on Saturday.

Pakistan will face India in the final on Sunday (today). The Pakistan team consists of Vaqas Ahmed, Tariq Mehmood and Waseem Rana. It is going to be a challenging moment for these youngsters for they have to retain the trophy which they won inthe last edition of the championship at Royal Palm Golf Club, Lahore in July 2004. They defeated India in the final. India had won the first five SAARC golf titles.
